CarbonTV Premieres Third Season of Agriculture Web-Series Growing Season, Featuring Two Farm Families

DETROIT, MI — August 10, 2017 – CarbonTV debuts the third season its exclusive web-series “Growing Season” with a focus on two farm families in Nebraska. “Growing Season” is presented by Chevron Delo, and sponsored by Monstanto Bio-Ag and Red Brand Fencing. The series is available exclusively on-demand for free on and related CarbonTV OTT apps.

“Growing Season” is a one of a kind docu-drama that takes viewers on a behind-the-scenes look at the agriculture community, all that is entangled from planting to harvest and calving to weaning. It shows farming isn’t just a job, it’s a lifestyle.

The season follows the Maricles and Andersons, from winter through fall, as they face successes and struggles to keep their livestock and crops thriving and profitable.

Brian and Hilary Maricle are sixth generation farmers in Albion, Nebraska. The farm has been in Brian’sfamily since 1871 and it’s important for them to be able to work with family every day. Their five children love to help, and when Hilary isn’t working alongside Brian on the farm she’s teaching agribusiness to future farmers at a local community college.

Not all who farm have a legacy to follow, however Stuart Anderson from Minden, Nebraska developed a love for farming while growing up in a small town, and decided to start his own farm at 24 years old. Passion and determination are needed thrive in a down ag economy, which he and his wife, Erin, demonstrate in this season.

“We are excited to feature two new Nebraska farm families in Season 3 of Growing Season,” says Duane Robison, VP – Ag, Equine, Rural at Carbon Media Group. “From a newly married couple just
starting their farming career to a sixth generation farm family juggling kids, corn, and cattle on a daily basis. We provide a unique perspective on today’s farmers.”
